Preservation and close-to-nature development of Slovenian forests and of all their functions for their sustainable and good management and use as well as nature conservation in forest space for the good of present and future generations.
The Forestry Institute of Slovenia displays a wide variety of data in the Forest Data Viewer Data on the characteristics of forests in Slovenia.
A list of all graphic layers is displayed in the Tree of Layers, where layers are divided into several Groups.
The map bases consist of several different types of bases:
- Map: topographic maps and plans,
- DMK: digital model of crochet, the height of vegetation above the earth is shown
The surface:
- DMR: digital relief model, showing the field's diversity,
- DOF 50 infra: infrared digital orthophoto recordings, measurements 1: 5,000,
- DOF 25: digital orthophoto recordings of a scale of 1: 2,500
The digital DMK crown model, which shows the height of vegetation over the earth's surface, is displayed in color scale. Up to the color chart showing the height of the vegetation above the ground.
